Only a week later...
Baby had been a little fractious all day.. and I was urgent for time on my own.. I was still very sore from the operation and I needed to have time out... although by this point my only version of time out was Adrian putting him to bed.. it was about 9.30 and I was watching something really crappy on the telly..
Baby began to cry as he took him to bed and I switched on the baby monitor in the front room... I asked Adrian to settle him into bed... All went quiet after a while... Adrian sat in the front room again..
Meomory is a little bleak at this stage...
But then after a time I heard baby begin to muffle a cry...
